A LUXURY ROAD & TRACK DRIVING EXPERIENCE
Open Road: Georgia was created for drivers who crave more than a scenic drive. It is a luxury driving experience designed to immerse you in the thrill of Georgia's most breathtaking backroads from the driver’s seat of your own car.
Every route is meticulously scouted to deliver the perfect balance of exhilarating driving roads and unforgettable scenery, while each thoughtfully chosen stop invites you to pause, take in the landscape, and capture the moment through curated photo opportunities and activities.
Driver registration is $6,000, with a passenger add-on for $500.
Registration & Welcome | Atlanta Motorsports Park
Guests arrive at Atlanta Motorsports Park for private check-in, route materials, and an opening briefing before the group departs for the first day on the road.
Departure | Woody Gap
The route heads north into the Blue Ridge, with Highway 60 through Woody Gap bringing an early change in elevation and terrain as the drive leaves the city behind.
Lunch
Lunch is scheduled in North Georgia before the route continues toward the Carolinas.
East on US-76/64 | Toward Highlands
From there, the drive continues east through the mountains and into North Carolina, climbing steadily toward the Highlands Plateau.
Cullasaja Gorge | Highway 28
The route then follows Highway 28 through Cullasaja Gorge, one of the more technical sections of the day, where the road narrows through the river corridor and the terrain becomes more focused.
Newfound Gap Road
The final major section of the day carries the group through Great Smoky Mountains National Park and over Newfound Gap, bringing a higher-elevation close to the first day’s drive.
Hotel Arrival | The Park Vista
By evening, guests arrive at the hotel in Gatlinburg with time to check in, reset, and refresh before dinner that night.
Departure | Gatlinburg
The day begins with a morning departure from Gatlinburg as the route climbs back into the Smokies.
Summit Stop | Clingmans Dome
A stop at Clingmans Dome brings the group to one of the highest points in the region, with broad ridgeline views and a natural pause early in the day.
Lunch
Lunch is scheduled along the route as the afternoon drive continues.
Fontana Road
The route continues toward Fontana along a narrower and more technical approach that changes the pace of the day before the next major stop.
Fontana Dam
At Fontana Dam, the group pauses at one of the region’s most distinctive pieces of infrastructure, with time for photos and a brief stop before continuing on.
Hotel Arrival | Tapoco Lodge
By late afternoon, guests arrive at the hotel with time to check in, reset, and refresh before a private group dinner.
Departure | Tapoco Lodge
The day begins from Tapoco Lodge, with the route centered around two of the most recognized driving roads in the region: The Tail of the Dragon and Moonshiner 28.
Tail of the Dragon
The first major section follows US-129, a highly technical road known for its sustained sequence of corners and uninterrupted driving rhythm.
Moonshiner 28
From there, the route continues onto Moonshiner 28, which carries the group through a more remote and varied mountain corridor with a different but equally engaging character.
Lunch
Lunch is scheduled along the route before the afternoon drive continues.
Afternoon Route
The remainder of the day continues through the surrounding mountain roads, with final route details and planned stops to be announced.
Return to Hotel | Tapoco Lodge
Guests return in the evening with time to reset and refresh before dinner.
Departure | Tapoco Lodge
The final morning begins with a southbound departure from Tapoco Lodge, following US-129 out of the mountains and back toward the circuit.
Farewell Lunch | Atlanta Motorsports Park
Back at Atlanta Motorsports Park, the group returns to the paddock for a private lunch before the afternoon track sessions.

The rally concludes with dedicated track sessions in the Xtreme Xperience fleet, bringing the experience to a close in a more controlled circuit setting after several days on the road.
